The Death of Gods?
The Urvwa dwell deep in the earth, seldom venturing into the open world. The are incredible miners, and some even say they can speak to the rock to find it’s richest veins.
The are short and powerful creatures, with no true body hair, but some form a moss- or lichen-like growth that grows similar to hair. Their skin is pale white or even blue-ish. Their eyes are wider than might be expected of their size, and they are dark but ringed with jewel like tones.
They are the longest lived of all the sentient races, and revere the elements and their ancient scholars. For those that live longest turn to scholarship when their body can no longer endure the stress of the mines.
